How December 21, 2012 Marks the End

Regardless if we are conscious of it or not, we all are taking part in the momentous events that are taking place, including what transpires on December 21, 2012.

Is the world going to end in some catastrophic event on December 21, 2012?  The world, as we know it, is ending but not necessarily in the way many people understand it.  Answers can not always be black or white.  The earth is undergoing dramatic changes as it experiences the end of a cycle of epic significance. At the same time, many forces are conspiring to destroy humanity.  Wisdom teachers would say that this is not a coincidence.  Interesting to note that the year 2012 marks 2000 years from the time that Jesus passed from boyhood to manhood and made a decision to serve and enlighten humanity.  It is definitely a time when we should be asking many questions, and not  be passive.

I do not believe the world will end on December 21, but I do believe that this time is of epic significance because it will determine a new direction for humanity.  We may experience an external event that will help us shift our consciousness or we may not be able to perceive an epic shift that could take place energetically.  What is certain is that we determine our probable future –for the better or worse—with what we collectively decide and hold in our minds and spirits.  This is a crucial time to wake up, to see the bigger picture and understand what is going on both levels—personally and collectively at a macro level.  Ultimately, the big picture is about choosing freedom or enslavement.  On a personal level, we can choose to be free of personal demons (e.g, fear, laziness, self-pity) and we can choose to help humanity be free (e.g, free of harmful policies that destroy health, safety, emotional well being, spiritual growth).

The direction of humanity is in the process of being solidified.  Our level of awareness and consciousness will determine where we go from here—a new time, an unknown path that is marked by the end of the Mayan calendar.

Some people will, consciously or unconsciously, discredit the truth about the importance of this time by saying that the world will end on 12/21, and then when the world does not end, the importance of what is really going on during this time will be discredited.  Truth is always being twisted in an effort to control us.  This is a time for all of us to keep asking questions, to become more awake because our level of consciousness will influence not only our future on a personal level but on a macro, earth level.

On the other side, there are people who are also focusing on the opportunities for “ascension” during this time.  To ascend, means to graduate—to learn and understand the current situation before we can graduate to the next level.  We need to understand and evolve on both levels—on a personal level and at a macro level.  If you have been doing your inner work, you’re ahead in the game.  You will experience greater personal freedom when you conquer or release personal demons (e.g., fears, selfishness) that keep you stuck, imprisoned.  You can evolve further by also understanding how forces are trying to control and harm humanity as a whole.  Take a step back and see the big picture and ask yourself if we are all gaining more freedom or less in our every day lives.  This is a crucial time where we need to choose freedom in our daily lives and in all aspects of our lives.  Even those who “ascend” will still need to continue to choose freedom.

Every level of awareness helps us to gain more freedom—freedom from darkness.  Just the act of being aware sheds light on darkness and diminishes its power.  This is true on every level—on a personal level and at a spiritual level.   Everything is interconnected.

We are all in this together. Let us choose to create a new world, a better place that gives us the freedom to evolve as the powerful beings that we are.  Now more than ever, we need to live as warriors of the light and choose wisely, in the absolute best way we can.

I want to give special thanks to my partner, Shane Sullivan, a truth seeker, a warrior of the light whose profound wisdom and insights inspired me to write this post about December 21, 2012.

December 2012 – Moving Out Of An Old Paradigm and Into A New One

The theme for December 2012 is FORGIVENESS.

The image to work with this month is one of moving from one house to another. You have relinquished the old one and are on a deadline to move, as there is a new person moving in. You have to get all of your things out. As you pack you uncover all those things you forgot you had (or you wish you did not have) from the backs of drawers and closets and from the basement and the garage and other areas well hidden from your everyday life. You are astounded by the amount of accumulation over the years (most of you anyway).

As you go through it, memories and emotions come to the surface as you make choices as to what gets moved and what gets passed on, thrown or given away. After all the moving van is only so big and the new house is different, more efficient and you don’t want to clutter it up with unimportant or old stuff that is connected to some past dream or reality. For example if you lived in a snowy area and you are moving to the tropics you would likely eliminate most of your cold weather gear and equipment.

This is a time when you would feel slightly nostalgic, everything would be disorganized and no matter how well you packed you would still be living out of boxes for awhile. You would make sure you had the very essentials for living while you were unpacking: the minimum of clothing, furniture and kitchenware. You would rely on your friends and community to help with this transition and you would be somewhat excited but anxious at the same time especially if where you were moving was an entirely new landscape to you.

Moving is always stressful and it is challenging to keep grounded. These are the times. We are moving out of an old paradigm and into a new one. As we face the unknown there is excitement, there is anxiety and there is resistance and a desire to have something around that is familiar. There is also a feeling of being overwhelmed by the immense task of sorting, choosing, packing and moving. Timing and support are everything. And then the question during the shaky first months: Did we do the right thing? Did we make the right move?

So where does Forgiveness fit in?

I had a dream the other night where I went to my house but my house was a multi story old rickety thing with falling down front steps and a huge pile of renovation debris behind the front door so you had to enter through the back door. As I was going through the house I noticed how much furniture there was. Random chairs and beds everywhere and staircases that were barely navigable. So much clutter I could barely move or think.

We were to go somewhere the following day and I was expecting a house sitter who showed up a day early and brought all of their animals and the whole family and then some friends too to add to the clutter.

As I pondered the dream the next morning, I saw clearly that this was a symbol of the immense burden the collective carries at this time of karmic clutter. We truly do not know what to do with all the karmic clutter we have accumulated during this cycle we are just completing now.

The ONLY solution is to FORGIVE it. Therefore the theme of Forgiveness is not to be taken lightly this month, but to be worked with on a daily basis beginning with you personally. Using the metaphor of moving, as you observe your judgments come up about the clutter in your life whether energetic, karmic or physical, forgive yourself.

We carry such debt, most of it a collective karmic debt. It is a huge burden and time is running out. You can help the collective by forgiving yourself and then forgiving all others that “owe you”. Do you want to be left behind at the counter waiting for your change when a tidal wave is about to sweep in or do you forgive what is owed and get yourself to higher ground?

What is Forgiveness?

Forgiveness is an energy that neutralizes the charge attached to a person or an event releasing you and the person or event from the debt that is allegedly owed.

Forgiveness does not mean you condone the karma or make it OK to repeat. It merely takes the charge off and neutralizes it, so it does not matter in your life anymore. You can become neutral about it and therefore can let your attachment around it go. So work with the energy of Forgiveness rather than the emotion of it. This is not emotional. It is a complete letting go like breathing a sigh of relief or releasing the body in death.

This is a difficult thing for some of you, especially if you are a control freak or have Martyrdom or are intellectually centered with an emotional trap. Some of you hold on to things way too long. You know who you are.

We are currently a global society built on debt and operating from debt. Debt holds a lot of energy and blocks evolution and progress. There is as much of a sense of ones owing a debt, as there is a sense of being owed. Both need to be forgiven. What if it were all forgiven? The more you can forgive your own debt both ways, the bigger the influence of the ripple effect on the collective. This is imperative work if we are to navigate the upcoming change in a way that gets us to a new vibration.

We have a lot of work to do. How many of us are sitting in Martyrdom or Self-deprecation berating ourselves for the choices we did or did not make, and feeling resentful at those that “done us wrong”. We are waiting for the debts to be paid or bracing ourselves for the debt we feel we owe and have no clue as to how to pay it back. Before December 21, see how much you can forgive, as this is the only way to be clear of the burden that keeps you energetically tied to the past. It is time to move on, especially for those of you that have self-deprecation about not being good enough or suffer from self-loathing about the things you have done to your body, to yourself and to others. This is the time to forgive all.

On the other side are the potential for tremendous insight and a powerful invitation to step into a new vibration that allows a greater understanding of how to manifest and how to work with the quantum field. You should be greatly inspired with the possibilities and begin to get your energy back with every forgiveness you manage to negotiate well.

December 21: The Winter Solstice is exact at 4:11AM Mountain Standard Time. We do not need to tell you that this is a very important time and day to honor in some way. The energy is about honoring and forgiving the structure that has held life together up until this point. Move yourself into a place of trust that a new structure has been organizing itself in the quantum field through a collective intention of having a better world.

Are You Using Sound To Speed Up Creating Changes in Your Life

In this post I want to share some fascinating facts about the power of sound and how certain sounds can help you to more quickly create changes in your life.  At the end of this post, I’ll also let you know how you can get a free introductory kit!

Everything is energy.  Everything has its unique vibration—a unique tone or frequency.  Sound, light and electricity are waves of energy. These waves can be measured to determine the exact frequency of the energy.  (Frequency, measured in Hertz “Hz” units, measures the number of waves that pass by per second).  An “A” note on a violin string, for example, vibrates at about 440 Hz (440 vibrations per second).

Everything emits sound.  The cells in your body, every organ, your thoughts, emotions, the earth, rocks & the planets all have their unique frequency or tone.

Scientists have discovered, for example, that there are ”cancer cells” which emit distinct sounds from healthy cells.  Research is being done to explore the effects of playing frequencies of healthy cells to cancer cells to transform sick cells into healthy ones.  Scientists have also researched sounds that are emitted from the planets. Jupiter, for example, emits the loudest music.  It’s interesting that Jupiter, which has a frequency of 183.6 Hz, is associated with growth, success and creative power, according to the Zodiac and other ancient knowledge.

You might be wondering, “How can this type of knowledge help me?”  We can use sounds, or frequencies, to entrain our minds and quickly boost our mind powers.

Modern science now understands that rhythmic sounds and frequencies affect brain-wave activity.  In the last two decades, there’s been tons of research on mind enhancement tools, such as mind machines and audio recordings, that help us change our brain waves with the push of a button.

In past posts, I have written about the benefits of consciously slowing down brain wave activity and entering deeper mind states, such as Theta.  Slower brain wave states are highly effective for releasing negative emotions, healing, manifesting, developing intuitive abilities and tapping levels of extraordinary awareness.  While slower brain wave frequency states (meditative states) are enormously valuable, higher frequency states, such as Beta/Gamma, also provide their own benefits.

If you want to enhance your mind abilities when you’re at the office or working on your computer or doing analytical work that requires use of your logical mind, you can greatly benefit from high-alert states, such as Beta/Gamma.

In a nutshell, there are four recognized brain wave ranges: Beta (14-30 Hz) is present in normal waking consciousness; Alpha (7-14 Hz) in states of relaxation; Theta (4-7 Hz) in meditative states; and the slowest, Delta (0.5-4 Hz) in deep sleep and profound meditative states.

The most recently discovered brain frequency is Gamma, which is the fastest in frequency at above  30 Hz.  Many researchers don’t distinguish Beta from Gamma waves, and refer to it as Super Beta.  Gamma  is associated with bursts of insights,  high-level information processing such as math and data analysis.`

How to Quickly Change Your Brain Waves & Create Positive Results

Can goals, such as wealth, creativity, greater self-confidence and memory improvement be realized more easily by changing our brain waves?

The answer is yes! All our thoughts start out as brain waves, specific frequencies. And like radio waves, our thoughts can be transmitted from our minds to the universe.  The universe responds to repetitive and consistent thoughts, especially when they are empowered.

You can empower your thoughts and goals in meditative states using “envisioning”.  In The Warrior Spirit, I explain how to help speed up the manifesting process by “envisioning” your goals during deep meditative states, such as Theta.   Slower brain wave states, such as Theta, provide many benefits beyond helping you manifest.  In fact, all of the brain waves (e.g., Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta) have their distinct benefits.  There are many ways we can create specific brain waves.  Sound is a one way.

Modern science has shown that sounds affect brain waves.  Why is this important?

Brain wave frequencies affect our mental, emotional and physical well being. Sounds are waves, which can be measured as frequency.  (Frequency is measured in Hertz “Hz” units; it’s the number of waves that pass by per second).  Studies have demonstrated, for example, that when people listen to sounds that are in the Theta range (4.0- 7.0 Hz), they enter a deep meditative state & tend to have greater visualizations, inspiration &  insights than when they are in the ordinary waking state of Beta.

While meditative states are enormously valuable, higher frequency states, such as Beta/Gamma, also provide their own benefits, different benefits. If you want to enhance your mind abilities when you’re at the office or working on your computer or doing analytical work that requires use of your logical mind, you can benefit from high-alert states, such as Beta/Gamma.  The most rapid frequency brain waves we know are Gamma (about 40.0 Hz and higher).  Gamma brain waves are associated with bursts of insights, high-level information processing and certain cognitive activities, such as analysis and math.

We can create desired states by listening to certain frequencies that are aligned with that which we want to realize.

Click this link to get 3 audio downloads at no cost today by signing up for the gift introductory kit.  The audio called “Seeking Truth” was my favorite of the 3 audio gifts.

Experience how certain audio frequencies can help lift your mood and create positive changes in your creativity, confidence, IQ, concentration abilities and finances.

We all can train ourselves how to reach desired states easily by using the power of sound to positively affect our brain waves and entire being.

November 2012 – Riding the Wave of Turbulence

The theme for November is TURBULENCE.

This is a month that will require you to pay attention, be present, and ride the big waves of life as you move forward in life. Turbulence can throw you off, up, down, and sideways. Although we will certainly have physical manifestations of this theme, much of the turbulence will be experienced as your own internal processes around your relationships, your choices, your decisions, what you believe to be true, and your perceptions of how things are.

It will be a testy time with conflict ready to insert itself if it sees an opening. Martyrdom is well at work, as throwing blame around becomes the name of the game. Addictions, energy leaks, bad behavior, judgment and violent reactions to situations out of your control can all surface if you are not careful, present, and paying attention with both hands on the wheel.

How do you manage emotional turbulence?

You navigate through it. If you stop and stand still, you will be tossed about like a boat without a rudder. The only way to successfully navigate is to keep moving forward while steering with both hands on the wheel. You cannot afford to get distracted or you will be turned upside down and land in the ditch. So keep your eyes open and on the road, know where you are going and don’t let yourself get distracted by the voices that tempt you towards petty dramas, arguing your point, being right, needing to know, blaming others and not speaking your truth.

We are in a great time of completion before the next cycle begins. Think about the things you really do not wish to drag like a ball and chain into the next cycle. The emotional turbulence you feel may be your own indecision, confusion, attachment and insecurity making it difficult for you to feel secure, balanced and on track.

Turbulence is a product of instability in the environment. At this time nothing is fixed and therefore everything is unstable causing emottional turbulence. The best tool you can have during turbulent times is your own resilience and flexibility. If you take your eyes off the road or one hand off the wheel and suddenly find yourself upside down in a ditch, get up, dust yourself off and keep going.
Revisit your expectations of yourself and others. Expectations will stop the flow of energy much like coming to a stop while in the middle of turbulence. Remove all expectations and take a look at the current landscape in which you are navigating. Be present with what is, not what you expect it to be. Be willing to change your mind, your plans, your views and your life.

This is an incredibly exciting time and there is great power and even exhilaration in navigating through emotional turbulence. This is not boring. If you find yourself bored, you are surely not on the right track.
We have 2 eclipses this month adding fuel to the fire and insuring that there is no turning back.
We must go forward and learn to ride the surfboard of our own intentionality if we are to ride the wave of life and of our future. The view is certainly better from the top than it is from underneath.
How the month shows up:

YOU PERSONALLY

Up, down and sideways. You may experience turbulence on the inside or it may be coming from the outside caused by some event out of your control. Remember that the only way to navigate turbulence is to navigate through it by staying present with what is and not getting distracted as you move forward. Personally this may take the form of a challenge in your life, a complicated choice to make, or simply a desire to move yourself ahead in a direction that supports who you are. Watch for signs along the way and helpers that show up. Watch for synchronicity when you are on the right track. Telling the truth will insure you move in the right direction.

This is a good month for completions. Contemplate the cycles you have had in your life and observe which ones may be coming to an end. Do what you need to do to feel complete. The distractions may take the form of your own fear and worry, other peoples fear, worry or judgment, or just simply your own chaos that keeps you unfocused. You may need to be a bit ruthless with yourself and with others. Don’t be afraid to cause a little more emotional turbulence as long as it is the result of your own truth and moving forward instead of an unnecessary drama.

RELATIONSHIPS

Lots of bickering is possible as relationships try for stability on new ground. The platforms that many relationships were built upon will be dissolving making room for a complete reboot. Communication is ultra important and will need presence and discipline and paying attention to details as Mercury is retrograde for most of the month. Don’t be afraid to speak your truth in relationship as part of the new platform. The emotional turbulence this month is felt in the uncertainty that many relationships will go through.
In the process of resolution, new ways of being in relationship will be tried. As community is also important this month, community groups may change the way they do things or at least open the door to new possibilities. If you are experiencing emotional turbulence in your close relationships, try really listening and connecting with the essence of what is present. Honor the truth and then respond with your own truth. This is an interesting month for relationships as there is a current focus on moving towards cooperation rather than competition…

Lessons About Love

I wanted to share a story by Jose L. Stevens that  I read today about the hard lessons of love.  Below is an excerpt from the article that can be found on his website thepowerpath dot com.

I bolded a few sentences that really struck me.  This story made me ask myself  deeper questions about a personal challenge I am dealing with.  It made me understand at a deeper level why this challenge has come up for me over and over.  Jose’s story helped me realize that I have been forced to confront an aspect of myself that I have not fully forgiven and embraced.  I know I need to make  peace with the situation or else it will continue to haunt me.  Just this realization has  lifted my spirit.  Perhaps Jose’s story below will also inspire you to ask yourself questions about a difficult situation you may be having and to gain insights on how to change it.  Perhaps there  is someone in your life that really pushes your buttons. Or perhaps there is a situation in your life that keeps haunting you.  Why is this person or situation a part of your life?  What lessons do you need to learn?  They are there for a reason.  Our personal demons are there to help us evolve.  Enjoy the story.

* * * *

“When we think of lessons about love, we usually think of romantic themes or the love between a parent and a child, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. The truth is, lessons about love can be extremely difficult and show up in ways that seem to have nothing to do with love at all. The truth is, that unless we learn these tough lessons, we will not make very much progress toward our eventual awakening. These lessons can be true knuckle biters and every great master or teacher this planet has seen has faced enormous personal challenges in the face of love, no exceptions.

Recently I had one hard love lesson of my own. My wife Lena and I own some land near Mora, New Mexico where we have many summer shamanic retreats, trainings, and events. We call it Eagle Bear Ranch and it is reached from the highway via a long windy, rocky, and steep dirt road that crosses land that we do not own but have an easement on. The road has been deteriorating over the years due to the rain, snow, and much use and needed work badly. I called the woman who I knew owned most of the land and talked to her about fixing the road and she agreed it needed attention. I suggested that we could save some money by using a great pile of rocky red earth that had been sitting by the side of the road for years. We could spread it over the rocks and improve the road. She said that was fine.

I have an old dump truck and a skidsteer and after a couple of months I had our Huichol friends come out and work on the road. They are very good with heavy machinery and began to make a lot of progress. They did a wonderful job and I was delighted with the roadwork. One afternoon they came back to camp upset and said that a “crazy man” had yelled at them and kicked them off the road. It turned out to be the man who owned a short section of the property that the road went through. He had bought the land from the woman’s father I had called. Legally, we had the right to fix a road that we had an easement on if the road became impassable or difficult. Yet in my enthusiasm to fix the road I had neglected to consult with him about that short section of road that he had purchased. That afternoon, when I went to look at the road, it was all trashed. In a rage the man had taken his own tractor and tried to scrape off all the new surface we had put down. When I saw that he had destroyed much of the good work the Huichols had done I was in a rage myself. In my mind’s eye, I saw my hands reaching for his throat to choke him and worse. I found it extremely disturbing that I could not stop these raging thoughts. I knew that this was not good, but I had a hard time controlling my anger. I did not want to confront him until I had better control over my anger.

I went directly to my spiritual practices. I did Ho’oponopono over and over again. This is a Hawaian shamanic practice to reduce conflict. In the short version, one imagines telling the person they have conflict with that they are very sorry this problem has come between them. One takes responsibility for the conflict and apologizes for creating a reality where there is this fight and unpleasantness. It goes something like this: “I am sorry this has come between us. I am sorry that I dreamed this version of reality where you are angry with me and I am angry with you. I forgive you for whatever I have been blaming you for and I forgive myself for whatever I have done to contribute to the problem. I love you and I love myself no matter what has happened, because I am a son of the Great Spirit. You are my brother, a fellow son of the Great Spirit, the same as me. Thank you for helping me to learn this lesson.

Try as I might, I lay in bed awake all night, still angry as hell. I saw clearly that I had created this event to learn something about love, but I was damned in letting go of the anger. Little by little, I made progress. I was able to see that this man, a warrior, represented my older brother (also a warrior) with whom I had a lot of conflict as a child. I was projecting certain things onto him that belonged with my brother, who I thought I had forgiven, but evidently I had not been thorough enough. When I was a child, I feared my older brother. He physically hurt me and one time when I was about four I hit him over the head with hammer with the intention to kill him and get rid of him. Of course I failed and all I did was make him cry and I got in big trouble for it. Now I feared what this man was doing to our work on the road and I was so angry at him for it I had similar murderous fantasies.

My wife Lena and I agreed that she would be the one to talk with him about the road because I might make things worse, given my mood and projections. She was much more neutral about the event and was able to do some healing work about the event long distance. This turned out to be very successful. She took him some cookies and visited him with my daughter Anna who brought my new four month old grandchild. As it turned out, he was contrite about what had occurred and muttered something about it just being a road. She saw that he was quite lonely and not being consulted about his section of road had triggered him to attack. They had a good conversation about how to come to a compromise. The result was that we would agree to bring in some base-course to cover the red earth on his section of road that he objected to. The entire event cost us an extra several thousand dollars but the outcome was what we needed, to be able to fix the road.

By the end, I was able to see that he represented that part of me that has at times, felt ignored and not included in decisions. While he is not my favorite character and I would prefer not to have another run in with him, I no longer feel like choking him and I am not upset anymore about what happened. When I look at the bigger picture, I realize that there are much tougher lessons about love to be dealt with. What if he had killed my family instead? What if he had run me off the road and paralyzed me? Would I be able to forgive him for that? That would be much harder, but that is what I would have to do in the long run.

Lessons of love are not just about romance. They are often about nitty gritty relationships that come up into your face to be dealt with without warning. These may have to come up over and over and over again until there is no fear left, nothing left but love. “Damn! It’s hard”. And it’s not fun, but there is no other way out unless one is willing to repeat these events again and again. I want them done, for good. This is the only way we are going to move forward in this world, to a new world, where hate does not dominate our experience as human beings. ..”

I’ve Never Met An Ugly Witch

We are facing a most serious threat in the world.

The threat is the systematic control of an individual’s energy. There are many strategies being used to weaken us, to eliminate our will and vision. A key strategy is to instill fear in society in order to get people to give up their freedom. Another strategy is to taint our food and water and air with poisons. There is also the threat of legal drugs.

Life-depleting strategies against us often are not obvious unless we are on constant alert and open our minds. A shaman by the name of Stalking Wolf once said “I have never seen an ugly witch.”  What do you think this means?  There is profound wisdom in this saying.  It teaches that darkness tends to disguise itself as attractive.

Do you remember in Star Wars how Senator Palpatine in the beginning appeared to be well meaning and noble then later revealed his secret identity of a dark lord?  Evil disguises itself in many ways.  More recently darkness is disguising itself less and less.  It is up to us to open our minds to see.

Today, there are many leaders and organizations which feign to want to protect us.  Be aware that darkness uses deception as one of its main weapons.  We are being attacked on many different levels.  Yet, warriors of the light can choose to be awake.  Awareness is our ticket to freedom.  Do not fear challenges as they can help you sharpen your will and increase your life force.  Darkness can teach us to transcend our weaknesses and to become the powerful beings we are meant to be.

There is nothing more important than connecting with our inner power.  We are guided by a higher force that is always there for us.  This force is within us, not out there.  It protects us and guides us in infinite ways—from the most practical to the most abstract matters—when we open our hearts and minds to it.

Knowledge protects you.  Ignorance endangers.  Keep learning.

The Warrior Spirit
